LEOPARD Interpretability 🧐¶
The participants who provided a successful submission to the LEOPARD test leaderboard are invited to submit to the LEOPARD Interpretability optional post-main LEOPARD challenge benchmark. The LEOPARD Interpretability will be a separate study/competition, held after the LEOPARD MICCAI 2024 challenge.
In this competition, the participants will be asked to submit a docker container with an algorithm that outputs time to biochemical recurrence and a free format "interpretability" for each case algorithm prediction (i.e. heatmap, text, segmentation, ...). The participants will have to provide a short paper describing their approach. The papers and algorithm outputs will be assessed by a jury composed of pathologists and AI experts. The submissions will be judged based on novelty and subjective "interpretability" scores provided by the board of pathologists. The top submission authors will be invited to jointly write a paper based on the outcomes of this competition. Furthermore, the following cash prizes will be awarded as per their ranking:
🥇1st place: €1000
🥈2nd place: €500
🥉3rd place: €250
We will provide further details about the study/competition soon.
